Hello,

I am looking to source a circuit board for the dash on a 1984 XJS 3.6, apparently the original Jaguar part no. is DAC 3152.

Can anybody help please?

Good morning Nigel

We have had much fun sourcing parts for our 92MY Phase One facelift.

If you are happy to consider a used item from the US.......

https://www.motorcarsltd.com/used-dac3152.html

We have used Paul's Jaguar in Florida several times but don't have experience of Motorcars Ltd.

You could also try Andy at Just XJS (located at Tutbury, Near Burton-on-Trent).

Good luck

Hi

As its a earlier type dash, they can be repaired at reasonable prices

if you google there may be somewhere near you that will do it

cheers

Thank you Gentlemen,

Ironically, on the same morning that I posted this, I saw an advert on e-bay, a chap had just collected a black XJSC, and contacted him.

Apparently the car has only done 24,000 miles, and I have agreed to buy the instrument cluster with circuit board; - that should restore the speedo and left side of the panel.

Thank you anyway.

I apologise most humbly, - I should have said "Thank you Ladies and Gentlemen"!

Sorry Carole.

On another note, - as you appear to be very knowledgeable, - I have chrome wire wheels fitted on the car, which have some rust on them; do you have any idea of how I can get them to look "rust-free" again, please?

Obviously I can use G3 or similar on the bits that I can get to, but there are many bits that are impossible to reach, even using the wife's toothbrush.

Would you know of anything that I can brush or spray on to get them looking good again?

Nigel
