I have just been to Halfords for a set of wiper blades. They said that because they have a spray bar, for the washers, they must be original equipment and they cannot do them. Is this really the case or after market ones available.

Any replies appreciated.

I got a pair of Bosch Wiper blades for my s type from my local accessory shop.  £29 fitted as against Halfords £42.

They have the spray bar, as were the last pair I got three years ago.

I think that someone is talking nonsense.

there just standard wipers

the washer jet stays clipped to the wiper arm, so does not need be disturbed to change the wipers
