My 2005 S Type is driving me crazy!! Bought new in 2005 now with 105K miles always have had regular maintenance and run very well. 7 months ago went to start it up and nothing no click no turnover nothing, try to jump start nothing still. I leave it sit for an hour or so come back and it starts right up  All the electrical works fine. Windows, radio, door locks, seats. New battery had it and alternator checked all good. One time it shut down at a stop light but started up after a few minutes. I have had it checked out by 3 so called "Jaguar Experts" they could not find anything wrong. The last time it happened I had it towed straight to the mechanic by the time we got there it started right up.Same thing happened again yesterday called a tow when he got there it started right up. Thank you for any help

Check the ground/negative cable in the trunk,

unbolt the cables off and where its connect to the body & battery post, clean the terminals with a wire brush (brass or steel brush) and clean off the both battery cables and posts while your there, and clean off the spot on the body that the cable is bolted to. Before connecting everything back together, put a bit of electric grease on every connection

Hopefully this solves the problem, Im curious to know if this fixes it, let me know what happens
