Engine is too noise

Good morning all,

As the topic title recently my Jag 2.2 diesel year 2009 automatic gear has very noise engine. Please advise what I need to check up with mechanic to fix it

depends on the noise really, post a video up

it is a diesel though and will sound like a tractor on cold morning
