DAB Upgrade

I've got a touch screen audio X-Type that just has FM/MW/LW.

I'd like to upgrade to DAB.

Looking on E-Bay I can see units like this one which would appear to be a direct swap with the existing unit. Is it as simple as that? What about the DAB Antenna or does that already exist in the Shark Fin on the roof?

I'd prefer to do a swap it at all possible.

the item in your picture is just a standard cd player, it has no dab

you can get many after market dab radios off ebay that hook up the car stereo wires and give you dab

I have a Jagdroid in my S-type R and is supperb, full android facility, google maps or tomtom, dab, reverse camera and full google assistant,

To get DAB in my x type i fitted a dension unit. It attaches an ariel to front windscreen. It is worked via an app on my phone.

I just use a PURE HIGHWAY

@Mackem159 Thanks. I've got a Pure Highway in our other vehicle and was thinking about this BUT there's no auxiliary input on the X-Type.

My Highway tunes into the FM frequencies, if I want to stream music, I plug into the AI on the highway
