Sorry to ask another question, but wondering what sort of MPG owners are getting from 2.2s and 3.0s?

I drive about 15k miles per year so trying to compare running costs as official figures are slightly misleading.

Thanks

Late 2014 2.2 Premium Luxury. I get around late 40s with mixed driving. Cruise control on the motorway can be up to high 50s.

Not necessary answering the question but after a service and having jaguar run some cleaning stuff through the engine I got just over 30mpg on a long run in the v8 5.0, assume I have a faulty computer 😂

Hi Paul,

I have a 2011 XF-S (3.0l)

Local short trips, I get high 20s to low 30s. Long drives on motorways, I often see high 40s to low 50s. Cruise control seems to be a massive help.

Cheers,
Jon

Got a 2009 3.0 diesel and I do around 16 miles on motorway a day and 6 around town and averaging 34mpg. I can get 45+ on long drives. Not bad considering my wife has a 1.0 Ecosport and she only gets 38mpg.

2009 3.0D 86,000 miles 34.2 average, 40+ on a run
