Interior Lining Lagging 2004 S Type

Featured Replies

Just purchased this car and really annoyed with myself as I didn't notice the interior roof lining is sagging a bit at the back. I know it's a common problem but can anyone suggest how to fix?

Thanks (again)

Michael

No matter what you do, it will get worse. The only way to fix it is to replace it completely.

Hi, check YouTube there are videos there which can help you out.

There are kits on Ebay and there are also people who will supply and fit new linings . I would agree that for a professional looking job it is not a self fix item, unless you are skilled in that art.

Best Wishes and Regards, John

hi

you have a few options, get a kit off ebay, remove yours, remove the cloth, rub all the foam off and stick new material on, about £100

or get a new one, new headliner off ebay, grp one, dont hold the damp like the hardboard one and just remove and fit the new one, about £250

or take it somewhere to get it done, around £500 to £600

cheers

Joe

Don’t know if you have solved this matter, but I have just removed one from a 2001 4ltr V8. With sunroof. It’s available for collection from Belper in Derbyshire. If your interested £10.
