Hello

I hope someone will be able to assist me with a question regarding the distance of the caliper fixing holes on a Jaguar XK 2010. I know the calipers are attached to the wheels on a mounting just behind the hub. I have a set of Brembo calipers off an S Type R and before I restore the calipers I would like to know if it is worth doing. I know there are brackets available if the holes are not the same, but it would be ideal if they were the same as an XK 2010. I am unable to get to the fixings otherwise I wouldn't ask. Can anyone help me please. Thank you for your time.

Hi

I would say the caliper fixing will be different centres, as the later STR teves brakes have different centres, which were fitted to a lot of XFs

also your going to struggle with the rear brembo's, because the STR has two seperate calipers at the rear, one solely for the EPB parking caliper, which has a completely different hub assembly, where the XF had one caliper thats does both

also the STR with brembos had 365mm front disks and 330mm rears, which will also be different

cheers

Joe

Thank you, that's very useful information. I think I might just refurbished the Brembo ones and sell them. Cheers
