Hi I bought a CD for my 2008 XF off E bay for £235.00 and I found it worked very well and was as good as the original. I would now like to upgrade my 2012 XF  but I haven't been able to find a suitable USB stick with one on as this is what has to be used apparently . Any suggestions please.

I bought the usb stick off ebay for my 2012 jaguar XF with hard drive sat nav last year for £85. Had an issue with the first USB stick received not working but he quickly sent out a replacement hich installed fine. Seller was navi-expert-uk. Price depends on whether you want UK only, Europe etc. but worth a look

 

My sat nav in my x type keeps saying this is not a map disc

I would take out the disc and clean it, and then see if it works.

As I know there is a navigation maps 2020 or 2021 for X-Type and other with older navigation system. 

My question is if somebody can upload or send image of disk here or on my email.

there is no update for Jaguar s-type or x-type, since 2012, 2012 is the last updated disc

if your cars a keeper, have a look at Jagdroid, have one in mine and its excellent. https://www.jagdroid.org/

Thanks for reply . Yes i know there is no support for maps since 2012. Unofficial maps 2021 are based from Volvo maps and works well. Anyone has disk image od 2012 maps ? jagdroid is great but costs 650 pounds. Would be thaknfull. Chears. 

Hi Rafal,

The answer can be too easy in a way.

The disc for 2012 gives you enough information and there are several dealers who will sell you one for under £30.  Looking up the current place on Google can get you where you want to go.

if you look on some of the forums, you should be able to find a link to download it, as its over 8gb its not that easy to share the file

also it wont work on a lot of cars, the nav dvds are getting old on these cars and most wont play copied dvd's only genuine burned ones

also the volvo denso dvds wont work on our cars as its a different denso nav unit

as for Jagdroid, £650 quid cheap, people will pay £1500 of a new iphone or samsung phone, so bargain if ask me, the unit does so much and can easily be sold on for same money if car is sold
