Hi Anthony, I don't know if this will help you but i had similar problems.I have a 2004 Platinum s type.It has had paint at some time in it's life of that there is no doubt.My local paint factor tried twice to match my paint-NO luck. They were adamant that they had it right and i was wrong.Then i read on one of the american forums that there are indeed 3 shades of MDZ platinum and the last shade change was in 2004 at some point.That then run on until production ceased..I found another paint factors who when they checked confirmed this.I now have the correct shade of MDZ which matches 60% of the car.Saving up now to have the remaining 40% painted to match.
