    Welcome to the Club, Eddie. The s type is a great car and a future classic. There are several members in Ireland, both in Northern Ireland and the Republic, and the question of a meet has come up. My S type will be coming off the boat in Dublin on Friday for a nice quiet holiday. Regards, Peter.

    I lifted up the bonnet to get to the passenger side, Richard. The driver's side was easy. The XJ and the s type are fairly similar in parts, but different in size!

    Just a guess, Richard, but when I did it on my s type the part holding the blade clicked out when a little force was exercised. Peter.
