  1. Thought I could hear a noise, so got it up on a ramp, the casing was wet. Then drips on the monoblocks. The noise turned out to be the new Dunlops, which are way noisier than the cheap rubbish that was on it when I got the car. It's freaky as at 90mph under load it changes drone. Was sure it was the diff, but was wrong. At least no dripping on mono blocks now.

  2. Another alternative is to get one from a breakers yard. Usually quite easy to find one in excellent condition. A quick spray and polish with rubber conditioner and job done. Maybe that's a possibility for you? My mobility problems mean that my door seal has a hard life and I've used the method with my previous S types several times without issue.
