Charlie,
Thought the XK had a sat nav in it .

Trevor,
I don't think they are . If I recall correctly there is someone on this site who has been done for having one .
ATB,
Trevor

Peter,
You can buy Scotland for a pound !
Only joking Charlie .
ATB,
Trevor
-
Peter,
I don't worry about things like that,
The XKR, the XJ Supersport, and both Astons were hardly frugal .
If I worried about MPG I wouldn't own a car .

Charlie,
So that's ten prices of junk then .
The wife looks exactly like a Bond girl.
It’s just a shame it’s Judi Dench .

Mike,
In all fairness,. it was in my irresponsible days. and I was smoking a lot of the stuff I shouldn't have .
I was quite happily divorced at the time. but the (now ) wife pestered, and we really did run away to Coventry !, it didn't show a lot of imagination I know, but one thing in Coventry's favour, it is not Birmingham !

Charlie,
I'm not going anywhere, I like the people on here and Jaguar cars, it is just the attitude of Jaguar that annoys me.
If I can continue to be of help I will do.

Trevor
P,S. Due to a mix up i have been lent a 2014 Vauhxhall Insignia, and diesel ! what a heap of plastic junk .

Charlie,
Thanks to Jaguar's attitude, I am now the owner of a MERCEDES-BENZ C63 AMG Edition 125 .
I did warn them, it is all a shame, but I did tell them about their attitude .

Peter,
No way am I going to Birmingham .
Update. The E-Diff light has come on, to I'm going to phone the breakdown, and they can meet me at the dealership .
I will get it repaired , and then I am seriously thinking of getting rid of it .
I expect more from a £50K car

Peter,
Update on the diff problem .
Jaguar breakdown phoned and came a day earlier than I expected, which was good.
The young lad was very efficient and pleasant . He didn't seem to think there was a diff problem, but was a computer problem .
He reset the computer on the car and said he felt everything should be ok .
He said if the E-Diff warning came up again before the weekend to phone him (he gave me his personal phone number ) and he would arrange to meet me at the stealership with a hire car.
He also said if it comes up at anytime before the warranty take it straight to the dealership and they could liaise with him.
Will take the car out for the first time today since he called and see how it goes, but feel confident all is ok.
Now as for H Samuel .........

Mike,
I don't think you do have me beaten on the most dismal destination , I lived in Coventry for a year (actually ran away with the (now) wife) to there .
If there is anywhere worse, I certainly wouldn't want to live there, it is probably worse than where I was born .

Clive,
Welcome, enjoy the club .
Andrew , I used to live in Alton, also ran the Fleet half marathon a few times .
ATB,

Mike,
I was wondering that as well !
I've also lived in Monmouthshire , Weymouth, Johannesburg , Botswana, Tripoli ( Libya), Coventry, Alton in Hampshire, and Ilfracombe

Mike,
Charlie was nearly foreign, and if the English had the vote he would have been, and wanted to be .
Well if you were born South of the Thames fair enough, which part ?, I'm from Guildford , although I was born oop north accidentally two months prematurely, but only lived there for 14 days .
ATB,
Trevor
-
Charlie,
How can Mike talk what southerners eat when he himself lives up North ?
He even comes from a place with "North" in it's name.
Just jesting Mike .

Peter,
Don't like the F type much, and it seems to be Jags most troublesome car, but it's better than nothing, seems like it's the E-diff motor that needs replacing, but not to worry.
ATB,
Trevor
P.S, Didn't realise they played football in the Midlands these days
-
Peter,
It is, but it's not what I expect from a £50K . I have only called out breakdown twice in all the years I have driven, both have been in the past year, once for this Jag, and the other for the XJ Supersport .
I am trying very hard to like Jags and buy British but they really are trying my patience , think i'll buy a wind powered barge.
Credit where it is due though, the stealership were very pleasant and helpful when I phoned (they wouldn't speak to me last time), perhaps things are slowly beginning to sink in !
Don't get me on to Accurist watches and H Samuel though !
It will all come out in the wash, at my age, I just enjoy being grumpy .
Festive pic of Damien Hirsts' statue in Ilfracombe

Peter,
" "One day" you will be surprised how great Jaguars are. Carpe diem!"
Just found out the diff on mine is on it's way out, that's how great they are !
ATB,
Trevor
-
Charlie,
Mine is just mad !, so spare a thought for me on December 22nd when it's a full moon (i'm not joking it will be the 32nd year on the trot) !
Don't go shopping with her, send her on her own. I never go in shops with mine
ATB,
Trevor
-
Peter,
I'm not complaining about of quality of the Jags, or the workers, just their customer service, which is shocking, and I'm not the only one on here to say so either.
They are like most big companies these days, once they have your money, that's it. But that's foreign owners for you
ATB,

Colin,
What is so great about Mercs, the wife is pestering me to get one ?
Jag's are fab, unfortunately Jaguar aren't, that's why she wants a Merc
ATB,
Trevor
-
Charlie,
I never have to send anything back, as I get it right first time .
The internet is cheaper, can get stuff delivered the following day if you wish, and you haven't got to put up with other peeps in shops .
ATB,
Trevor
-
Charlie,
The point of the internet is that you don't have to traipse around shops .
I don't go in for anything yank, so did not do Black Friday like the rest of the sheep .
Also, of course women nag, that's what they bred for . But if you think you have it tough, spare a thought for me young man, it's 'er indoors's birthday Christmas eve.
ATB,
Trevor

Dennis,
Welcome, which part of Hampshire are you from? I used to live in Alton.
Couldn't make out what the link was meant to be for, apart from an advert for bad music, probably because I'm old .

Trevor

Charlie,
Why, what's wrong with it, is it not in Gaelic ?
The sat nav I had in my XKR was excellent, never had any trouble with it, even with the Devon cart tracks .
The map on the one in this insignia car looks like its been drawn with crayon by a five year old .

Trevor
