Hi Peter,
thanks for that.
I have just read on another forum that this seems to be a fairly regular occurence and it was suggested that you could put something underneath the arm to support it and slowly push on it to bend it back down.
I am a bit clumsy when it comes to things like this,so i am a bit wary of doing it.
Thanks again

Hi guys,
well as the title suggests i have been having this problem for a little while and just wondered if anyone else has had the same,it seems to catch on the knuckle of the arm,if so could you please tell me in a "noddy" guide as i am a bit thick when it comes to diy.
I assume the arm can be bent, but should i bend upwards, should i leave the arm on the car to do it or take it off.
The passenger side is fine with a lot of clearence.
Many Thanks
Graham

Graham, Trevor [the young one] will send you one.
I am sure he won't mind me sending you his contact email address.
You will just need to send him the address to which to send it.

Hi Graham, and welcome to the Club.
The S Type, in my opinion, is a really beautiful car, both in looks and to drive.
Today, it is sunny [but windy] in Sutton Coldfield and so my S Type will get a very good wash and polish.
All you need now is an Owners Club Sticker.
Regards,
Peter.
Thank you for the welcome Peter.
Where can i find the Club Sticker?
Regards
Graham

Hi everyone,
been a Jaguar owner for many years of various models and now the proud owner of a 2004 S Type
purchased for £810 last June 2013.
Never had an S type before but certainly not regretting it.
Will post pics very soon.

Hi Peter,
many thanks for having a look.
I will have a go at bending the arm later, drizzling at the moment, but will not try and force it.
I have a trusted mechanic in Hinckley so if i am unsuccessful i will take it to him to have a look.
I will post back later today.
Thank You
Graham
