  2. this is a boot mod I fashioned up last year ,thought you mite like
  3. try cleaning plugs and coils ,it fixed my freinds x type ,but i replaced mine as it didnt work for me,new plugs from CARPARTS4LESS thats were i got mine from, ngk they were the cheapest online supplier i found,coil packs from ebay- just make sure same serial number , good luck.
  4. it is just 4x10 mm bolts it is that easy

  7. :D hello,,, i have replaced the plugs+coil packs this afternoon,run the engine through sequence to clear the codes,now i am just left with p1111 ,so i think all is now well (fingers crossed) i can accellerate full throttle now right through the gears without engine jolting ,as you said "it runs like a dream" thanks for your advice,
