hope this post hits all the right members
ive been an active events team member for many car clubs for a number of yrs now and would like to do the same here but as with most things in life one can only do it with the help of others so this is where you come in as a member of the club .
so do you fancy a day out in your jag, maybe a car show - down to the coast for the day - family picnic day - a dealership day - bar-b-que e.t.c
these are just a few things we can do if your willing to put a little time & effort in
so what im asking you as a member lets put are heads together over a pint / coffee / soft drink & see what we come up with
come & meet up with like minded members remember drive the car not the keyboard & dont forget to post a reply
see ya soon ah

i willing to set a meet up for members to come along to on afternoon or evening
looking at the hampshire / berkshire / oxfordshire borders but need to know where members are coming from to choose the location so its fair for everyone who wishes to attend
this type of meet went down very well within the citroen c6 & ds3 club i use to run,(well the southern area section anyway)

im with adrain flux at the moment but when i change over to the jag they want another £143 on top of what im already paying them on a special limited edition 1.6 citroen ds3 but to cancel the policy was £131 best deal i got for the x type was £254 fully comp from hastings with protected no claims. insurance is a minefield these days

good morning all
even though i have not picked the car up yet i wanted members opinions on the x types chrome badges, mine is a darkish grey MET so was thinking of changing them to gold plated ones.
i.e leaping cat & the x type badge on the tail gate to help with the contrasting of the beige interior.
has any other members done this and how does it look as i have seen other colored cars with the gold plated badges and some really suit the gold look
heres waiting for other members opinions
thanks ron

there is a link wire in the door so it may of just have slipped out of its housing on door handle if you cant open the door from the outside not sure if they are plastic or metal housing's on your model.
if you take the door card off you should be able to look up into the door void to see (maybe be a plastic sheet behind the door card just pull it away then stick it back with tape after)
