ok thanks steve i have also sent you 3 pm's ref 3 owners who want to come along and will meet at the services for 8.00am  

at the moment there is four brand new tires in there ready to be put on before next sunday's meet in Brighton

the one thing I can tell you is the clutch is cheap just cost me £500 to sort it out that's fitted but other than that ive had no problems so far with mine,so I cant comment any further

there is a lot of owners  for & against this blanking plate for the egr so it'S down to the owner to make their own mind up TBH, Im 75% for it but just need that extra nudge but as ive had no problems with MINE  yet ?? ( touch wood )  i will stick with it until it,  if/starts playing up then i might take the plunge

i agree with kenny a lot of work indeed also i take it when you say you have the clutch gearbox etc  it is a new one and not secondhand ? or did all of it  come from the same car even if it did , id still fit a new clutch kit if i was going ahead with this task.

          just an update on the Halfords card if anyone is having trouble using it at the checkouts the cards are valid at all stores and the Halfords staff can tell the code on the back is correct but when scanned at he tills it doesn't do nothing so what the staff did at reading for me was gave me the staff discount instead which = 25% :)  :)  :) so a very happy Tuesday for the car & my wallet :D  :D
