How to fit a Jaguar X-Type Top Moulding Finisher C2S29614 - help needed
hi Jim forgot too say if its glued in place you may want to leave the car for 24 hrs or so, to let the glue set the trim in place. the only reason i know this is when a dealer replaced mine on another car Ron

How to fit a Jaguar X-Type Top Moulding Finisher C2S29614 - help needed
i assume you mean the trim 3/4 down on the door take the door card off and with the window up you should see some plastic clips about 3/4 down the door could be white / black , squeeze / pop them out and the whole thing should come away if you cant see clips then its glued in place , now when you put the new one in you may have to buy new clips only a few £ you may also need get some adhesive to keep it in place. you will find some are just clipped in place and some are clipped & glued depending how good a fit the moulding is if this is not the trim then send a photo and i will see if i can send the info you need hope it helps Ron
