  1. Hi Ciaran Welcome to Jaguar Owners. I had turbo actuator replaced on my X type in may due to lack of power. I had it done at local garage. I can't offer advise on plug and play sorry but did find the above video on Youtube about cleaning it. Kind Regards, Julie.
  2. Hi Lee, Not an expert but believe most common cause in cars in general -relay or fuse. Kind Rgds, Julie.
  3. Hi George, Welcome to Jaguar Owners Club. Your wife has good taste, XK8 in white - stunning. I do not know much about the XK8 as I have x type, but have read good reviews in the mooring press and from the RAC, The 1997 I have found was given 4.6 out of 5 by owners who said it was reliable, and a pleasure to drive. I am sure one of our XK owners can tell you more. Kind Regards, Julie.
  4. Hi Gary, Firstly welcome to Jaguar Owners Club😃. That's a real pain. You have my sympathy. I had problem with TPMS on my previous Jaguar but replaced sensor and problem solved. Have you manually checked all the tyre pressures? Just in case there is a problem. I would take it back to the place who installed them, may be they were not installed incorrectly? may be the central unit is at fault? I can only pass on what I have read - not being an expert (but keen and trying to learn) Hope you get it sorted Kind Regards, Julie. Tire Change or Rotation was Recently Performed The tire sensors may be in need of a reset if the tire position on the wheel was changed. Depending on the car, this may just mean that you need to drive around for a few minutes so the tire can reset. If this doesn’t work, you may need to request a full calibration at the dealership or tire shop.
  5. Hi Kat, Glad Your enjoying the XF. I have X type 2007 which takes old gas, had that done in May. Not an expert but did check on several sites that all confirm info below I found a reference that Xf 2016 onwards use the new R1234YF.on Warren Garage web site. The Garage you take it to should be able to tell you what you need. Best Rgds Julie. Most cars on the road use the traditional R134A gas. However, all cars manufactured from 2017 onwards use the new gas R1234YF. This new gas produces 98% fewer pollutants than the traditional R134A, however, unfortunately it is significantly more expensive than R134A. The gas is not interchangeable,.
