  1. Hi Anthony, Red (plum), I'd never had guessed - either way it looks stunning. Best regards, Dave
  2. That's good news Sue. I didn't even look in the 'for sale' section. Well it just shows you had a great car for sale going so quickly. All the best, Dave
  3. Hi Sue, Welcome to the forum and selling your Cat - tad unusual but needs must? Can you provide some details, maybe a photo or two of the car? Would be good to tell us how many miles are on the clock, service history does it have a current MOT and the sort of price you'd hope to receive. Best regards & happy hunting, Dave
  4. Hi John, Posting a pic is quite simple if a little convoluted - it's not like dragging and dropping from one part of your harddrive to another. 1. Ideally you may need to reduce the size - most cameras churn out pics between 2 to 3MB, you may want to reduce the pic to about 500kb; 2. You'll need to upload them to a photo sharing website (I use photobucket there are many others); 3. If you intend to post a load of photos it would be wise to store them in an album before uploading: 4. Once on the sharing site copy the url to paste here using the picture icon above (just below left of the smiley above); Note: if you delete or move the photo it will loose the link to this site. Good luck, I look forward to seeing some pics. Best regards, Dave
  5. Hi Anthony, She looks stunning, I'm jealous already . What black is that? The pic of her rear end has a purple hue to it........ Best regards, Dave
  6. Hi Steve, My name's Dave and I drive a Jag :D , Welcome to the forum, hope to see some photos posted. Best regards, Dave
  7. Hi John, Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership. Couple of days at the refurbishers :D , you'll have to post some pics. Best regards, Dave
  8. Hi Ian, Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership. I second Keith's suggestion re "a few photos". Best regards, Dave
  9. Hi Mandy, Welcome to the forum and custody of what sounds like a lovely Jag. You'll need to take a couple of photos and post. I agree with your post - "a little strange" - as you can't drive but own a XJS - could be an interesting car to learn to drive in ;). I don't know much about the electrics, so unfortunately I can't help, maybe someone else on the forum can step up. Good luck, Dave
  10. Hi Phil, Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership, I hope you get a bit of support re engine management, have you looked at independents page? May be some external assistance? Good luck, Dave
  11. Hi Anthony, Welcome to the forum and Jag ownership, is this your first? Make sure you post some pictures, especially after you've waxed/polished it Personally I'm a fan of Autoglym but often use Collinite wax to get a deeper shine. Best regards, Dave
  12. Love to go but I'm out of the country that week. Have a good Tour, Dave
  13. A great day at Warwick Castle, there must have been a few hundred Cats (every car in shot (even the ones in the far distance) are Jags some new, some very old :D), A number of Jag clubs and SNG Barrett (to mentions some) had a stand/display. Took the family as the entry for a Jag was £12 on the day, almost a 1/4 of the normal family ticket. Lots to do, with events every half hour and just after 2pm we had a number of fly-by's of a Spitfire MKXII, the sound of the engine was absolutely awesome - puts the Jag V8 in to the shade.
  14. So off to Warwick Castle in the morning, the car needed a bit of a wash:- So a quick blitz with shampoo and wax (really should do someting with the exhaust)
