  4. Hi, from experience I've come to learn when it says quality its not always on about the "quality" of your adblue solution itself, but in fact the quality in which it is injected in to the exhaust system. So when your adblue injector injects, it does this in a fine mist form, but if your injector is failing/faulty, it may dribble out in droplets or be over injecting/under injecting etc, causing the "quality" of the adblue to not meet the specified requirements to be absorbed to reduce the Nox levels which dominos in to causing Nox sensor faults for readings incorrect.
  5. Hi, I have the same problem with my 2007 XJ8 Park Brake will not disengage
  6. Hi, I have a 55 plate jaguar x type sd, 2.0 I brought it cheap as a friend had terminal cancer, the rac diagnosed as fuel pump which we have replaced. I've been told it's the transit version engine. We have replaced the fuel and fuse box but it still won't start, unable to plug diagnostic machine in can anyone give us an idea what it can be as so far I spent £300 on parts.

  9. Hi Dave, there is a full information site at the DVLA website on how to register an imported vehicle, but you may be short of relevant paperwork. Best place to start is DVLA and if you follow the link below, you will see what it entails. Importing vehicles into the UK: Registering an imported vehicle - GOV.UK (www.gov.uk) Alternatively, you may wish to approach some of the other Jaguar Clubs, such as Jaguar Enthusiasts'' Club, see www.jec.org.uk who have access to specialists in touch with DVLA and they too would be able to assist. 10. Hi all, Had my Jaguar XF for a few weeks now and aside from the coolant manifold splitting in half and needing a DPF clean it has been wonderful. I am having issues with the Bluetooth and getting music to play from my iPhone via the iPod USB port however. Also cant get DAB signal but I have figured that is due to the rear window tint. I am also having the wheels refurbished to silver as I am not keen on the bronze
  11. Hi wonder if anyone can help me. I recently bought a Daimler double six from a salvage yard. It was a none runner but in beautiful condition. It’s now running perfectly. The vehicle is a Japanese import which has never been registered in the uk. The salvage yard bought it from a deceased estate so we literally have no paperwork whatsoever apart from what I think is a shipping note in Japanese lol. Can anyone advise me how to register the car in England?? I’m willing to pay for any advice that will help me. Yours faithfully Dave Webster
  12. Must be in very good condition, will have both very good condition standard headlights for sale or in exchange. Photo's available if required.
  13. Hi Shaun, you can try, if you know a good independent, but the Jaguar suspension system is unique in some respects, so you may need to resort to the Auto Logic or Jaguar Diagnostics to get a full description fault code. Good luck. N6 JMX

  17. Hello, 2007 Jaguar XK 2.4 Coupe Base owner here. I have been looking for proper information regarding the compatibility of some EBC products, hoping you guys can help me out. I really want slotted and drilled rotors (sure for looks) and preferably not made in China, which puts me at Hawk and EBC only, and Hawk is not compatible on all wheels...so here I am with EBC as my only choice. The EBC Parts Finder says "compatible", yet every authorized dealer linked from EBC 's site says "not compatible". I have looked at the specs, and it seems the rotors should be compatible. I'm looking at: EBC S5KF1896 (kit with yellow stuff) Front Specs: Pad No. D1241; Vented; 5 Bolt Holes; 326mm Dia.; 47mm Height; 30mm Thick; 71mm Center Hole Dia. and EBC S5KR1598 (kit with yellow stuff) Rear Specs: Pad No. D1095; Vented; 5 Bolt Holes; 326mm Dia.; 38mm Height; 20mm Thick; 64.3mm Center Hole Dia. So are they actually compatible? Am I missing something? Do I need to buy them separately instead to fit? Please advise. 2nd question if applicable: the same is available with Bluestuff. EBC S6KF1245 and S6KR1186 (same specs I believe) which EBC Parts Finder also says "compatible" andauthorized sellers say "not compatible". But if they are, does anyone recommend yellow vs blue or vice versa? Thank you all in advance, I included the images of the kits
  18. Evening Won’t a normal diagnostic unit do? At a good independent garage? Regards Shaun
  19. Hi Todd, it depends where you are of course, but for the XK8 parts, I would naturally direct folks to DCR Auto Parts, speak with Dave Roche who is a great solutions provider. Link below will take you to his website and contact detaisl. https://www.dcrautoparts.com/ N6 JMX
  20. My 2005 Jaguar XK8 has been in the shop for months, Looking for vendors who have the suspension parts...any good leads of reputable companies?
  21. Hi Shaun, you need to get it plugged in to a suitable Jaguar specific diagnostics unit to obtain the stored codes, otherwise it will be a case of chasing component replacement which becomes increasingly expensive. N6 JMX
  22. Hi Everyone I have a 2010 Jaguar XKR, and i have just got a Adaptive Dynamics Fault come up on my dash board and my suspension has become very hard. Any advice would be greatly received. Regards Shaun.
  23. Well the Switch arrived back yesterday and it looks nice and clean. It has obviously been opened as the rivets holding it all together have been changed. So far so good but of course the acid test will be the functionality once fitted - I'm still nervous !
  24. Hi Guillaume, welcome to the Forum. The XJS is a great car and I had a V12 Convertible back in the day, which we used to undertake road trips to Europe, mainly Italy. I live in Scotland, near Aberdeen in the North East of the country, so if you have any questions or need advice on visiting Scotland, just send me a PM and I will try my best to help. N6 JMX
