Hi just purchased an X type 2ltr auto with only 43000 on clock its an 02 with fsh,anything I should look at with a view of preventive maitaince . Thanks

The x type is a very good car [i had a 2.5 AWD Petrol manual], and I don't think that there is any particular fault you should look for.

 

With only 43k on the clock and a full service history the only thing you could look for is what repairs it might have had, if there is a record on the service manual.

 

You will enjoy the Jaguar experience.

Welcome to the club, I just joined myself having just bought my first Jag 10 days ago, an x type estate 2.2 diesel. It's a really nice drive, wished I done it some time ago, as my Dad has had about 6 different Jags and has always gone on about them and how good they are.
