what you need is a really big hammer some petrol and a box of matches

if the hammer doesnt work just set fire to the thing you will be doing yourself a favour in the long run

Hi Michael and welcome to the Club.

Richard has had a very bad experiece with his XF.

There are several members who have done the job you are looking at, and will point you in the right direction.

I do not get oily hands any more!

Regards,

Peter.

Thanks for the tip Lord H But I substituted matches for a space heater, that got it hot a little more under control, then gave the offending hub a clout with a small hammer, I am 60, and low and behold the blighter came out.Same thing on the ball joint,,now I am eagerly awaiting the prerequisite parts to reassemble the front suspension, I have done both sides.,will pop, down a local

engineering place to use their fly press when bits turn up.Mike
