S type rear sensors

Hi there,

Can anybody tell me how I can turn off my rear parking sensors on a 2006 S Type please.

Colin, Paul (Raistin2) kindly posted a pdf of electrical diagrams;

There is an index (Table of Contents)if you locate the parking sensors then you can remove the relevant fuse, alternatively the fuse box may have it written within which of course would be easier and my starting point.

Hi Colin, and welcome to the club.

 

The handbook for the s type on Page 124 tells you how to switch off both front and rear sensors where both are fitted.

 

There is a small overhead console and a switch mark "P" which controls both sets of sensors.

 

The rear sensors only has no switch and what Kenny has said is the easiest option.
