Need to replace dipped beam headlamp bulb....

Any tips on how to do this?

Does the full headlamp unit need to be removed or can it be changed easily

Thanks

Hi Jim, yes you need to remove the full unit, two bolts on top and the stupidest of all bolts ever, inside weel arch directly behind the unit.

I just but car in full lock for easy access.

Hello everybody,

This is my first posting on this forum.

I have been driving for almost 3 years now a wonderfull Jaguar XF 3.0d S Portfolio (11/2010). If I am delighted everyday when I sit down and start the engine, I could say that the standard headlight system is not awfully brillant!

I understand that I am not the only one in that case, and some of you have replaced the headligh bulbs. I understand also that the correct procedure to do so is to remove the the whole unit as mentioned in the previous contribution.

I am struggling a bit to find the appropriate spare part to be used on to my Jag. I found this on ebay but not entirelly sure that those will meet my expectations  in terms of visibility enhancement.

I guess that 5500k and 35W are key specs.

Your advices are welcome
