Hi everyone just wondering what oil you are Using in your S-Type 10-40 or 5-30  Fully Synthetic or semi Synthetic

I have used Castrol Magnatec 5 - 30 which without going into the garage I think is semi synthetic.

Correct, Paul.  My mistake  ---   my oil rarely needs topping up, Castrol Magnatec is a good choice and recommended by Jaguar.

5 - 30 Fully for me.

I use castrol magnatec 5w30 A5 fully synthetic

has to be A5 to meet jaguar spec WSS-M2C913-B

also magnatec 5w30 comes in  spec C2, C3, A3, A4 these dont meet the jaguar WSS-M2C913-B spec and are not recomended

yes castrol edge is very good oil

I use it in my STR, its got be either A5 or C1 spec

expensive but very good

Just use the Castrol oil finder using your reg number, should give you alternatives for Edge and Magnatec. Best recommendation pops up first but click more products for the alternatives.
