Hi everyone

Need to replace both wiper blades on my 2007 S type but having problem finding replacements from the usual places. Mine have the spray bar fitting and normal fittings are not wide enough. Any pointers would be appreciated.

many thanks

Hi

I have bosch twin aero  on mine, there only about £18

I thought the washer jets are on the wiper arm, not the wiper blades

cheers

I got mine from euro car parts, about £20 iirc

yes joe, the spray bar is integral with the clip that attaches to the arm although I had to swap mine round as they were on the underside of the blade.

Hi peter

like Andy i purchased my wiper blades from euro car parts. just under £20 for the pair very easy to fit. i bent the old ones in half to remove them. the new ones just clip on from the top of the arm. the arm only needs to be lifted about 1 inch from the glass.

You can swap them round ??

I always thought my new blades were designed as is, underneath, whereas the old ones were on top.

May have to have a play.

Thanks for your replies. Must have had brain fade earlier as re-searched internet and found them straight away - wiperblades.co.uk.

Hi

just make sure you get the right size

my car when i bought it had 22" and 22" fitted and the passenger side was allways high and sat against the window trim

I've since swapped them for 24" drivers side and 18" passenger side and now they fit perfect, i even managed to lower the passenger side wiper arm and now when there down i cant see either wiper from inside the car, I phone jaguar and they told me thats what fitted my car.

when you look on ebay they list 22" + 22" and 24" + 18" and 24" +19" all for the Jaguar S-type

cheers

You can just replace the rubbers, cheaper and easier if the metal parts are still in good order
