Window tints

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I am new to jaguar ownership and just got an XF premium luxury 2.2 (200ps) and am thinking about getting the rear windows tinted to have privacy glass effect. Does anyone know if tints will effect the auto dimming mirrors and interfere with them?

any advice would be great thanks.

Hi Dino,

On some Jaguar Models there is the optional extra of a rear window blind, but I only see that option as something which will stop sunlight interfering with your driving visibility.

The rear side windows will give the element of privacy,  but personally I would never tint  any other windows.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Dino

My car came with a set of rear window screens, Adamesh sell them

they easily fit and can be removed, you can also open the window, and nothing can fly into the car

they also look like car has been tinted, well recomended

cheers

Hi Dino

My 2.7 Diesel Premium Luxury come with rear privacy glass as an option and I really like it, it doesn't effect visibility or the auto dimming mirrors and gives great privacy (if needed) and keeps the car cooler in the hot sunny weather.

Regards

Kevan
