A quick hello to everyone.

Recently bought my first Jaguar at the seemingly young age of 30.

However I love it, and will no doubt be asking several questions on here over the next few months.

I have a 2003 S-Type Sport 2.5 V6 in Jaguar Racing Green.

Looks Great, Chris.

There is a similar model round here but it is not shiny, and the headlight need a good clean.  It is a pity when Jaguar Owners don't keep their cars as nice as yours.

Hi people

did not know of the group but I would be very happy to join. I purchased my first jag last August as a birthday present to myself it is a XK8 new in 2009 I just love it but need to use it more. I am lucky my name is Geoff and my surname begins with a B so I put GB09 JAG plate on. It is just the most beautiful car !!

Welcome to the Club, Geoff.

The XK is a great car, and a future classic, Look after your car and the car will look after you.

I hope you will enjoy the cub as much as you enjoy your car.

Regards,

Peter.

Hi Geoff, and welcome to the Club.

Given that your XK is a 2009 model, it will surely be an aluminium bodied XK, rather than the earlier XK8, which changed to the XK in 2006.

Mine is an early version of the new XK, even though it is a 2006 model. The model names are a bit confusing, given that it is not an XK8, but is powered by a 4.2 V8 engine!

Anyway, I have had mine for 6 years now, and still absolutely love it.

Enjoy your XK, and the Club!
