Hi All,  Newbie here.   Got into my 2008 X Type estate last week and put an address into the Sat nav.

It was calculated and i told it to set as destination and start.   as i moved off from Home, the Nav seemed to move off the roads i was on!

It now believes i am actually 40 ish mile southwest of where i am.  I have gone into the menu and reset my location, but as i move off it goes wrong again.

Anyone got any ideas.    I've also removed and reinserted the disc.

Thanks

Tony

Thanks Peter.  I'm at a loss.

Spoken to Denis. Stacey's sat nav problem was solved by going into map options and dragging the cursor across the map in stages until it was sitting in precisely the right position then hitting the "OK" button.

Is that what you've tried already?

Hi this is easily fixed go into vehicle menu then calibration this allows you to move the cursor to exactly your position then just save it really is simple and is explained in the X Type handbook if you don't have a copy let me know and i will photocopy the pages for you,  I also upgraded my satnav disc to 2012 version works perfectly and has newer maps than that found on the 2008 disc again if you need help PM me [email protected]

Gonna try and fix the issue with the satnav now so i'll let you know how it goes.

tony you can pay me via paypal my email address is [email protected] it will be 16.50 inc postage and packaging will put full instructions in but basically you just put the disc in switch on and wait for the disc to load takes about three or four minutes while it updates everything then go as normal
