Good evening to all, my name is Gary, and live in Mitcham, surrey, i  just purchased an 1997 xj6 sport,  very pleased to now own a jaguar.

i have always wanted a jag and now i can cross it of the bucket list, 80,000 miles with full service history, not all jag but local garage to the prev owner.

drives lovely, with only a few issues, one being the headliner needs to be replaced, and there is a leak on the power steering from the reservoir. also the rear passenger door has a small scrape and a rusty bubble at the bottom. The only door that has rust.

Gary.

hi and welcome

once you get the rust sorted, I recommend get it rust treated, "krown rust treatment"

I know a few people who have had it dome and they do a extremely great job

they do the car inside and out and its also guaranteed as well

have a look here http://krown.co.uk/uk/krown_application/Rust_treatment_process

they also have a Facebook page with lots of pics

cheers

Thanks joe, i will look into that, strange how rust attacks just one door, seems to have rusted from inside out.
