Just been reading the road test of F pace petrol.

I have an Fpace 3 litre S and can recommend it to anyone who is thinking of buying one. I had a 5 litre XF type R before and I think the F pace a better car. It rides really well and is quiet and comfortable with plenty of boot space. I have done 20000 miles now and have not had any problems with it. Fuel consumption is around 30 average but on long runs can get 36mpg which is good for an engine of that size.

I did put a deposit on an Ipace but have not taken up the offer yet as recharge points are a problem. When more sites are open and universal charging points are adopted I will probably have one. The other option of course is the new Fpace 5litre.

I’ve just bought a 19MY V6 3 ltr diesel. Traded my 2017 2.0 ltr Evoque HSE Lux for it. Loving it, fully loaded 9 months old, only 5k on the clock ex dealer M D’s car.

I love mine. Bought it in early October @ 9 months old with 5000 miles on the clock. Fitted with all the boys toys including 22” wheels/tyres & a sun roof. I can get over over 35 mpg on a run.

Picked up my F-Pace R-Sport a little over a month ago and have done a 1000 mile trip to, around and back from Wales.

Averaged just on 40 mpg over the 1000 miles.

Did a 120 run from Gt Yarmouth and managed 45.7mpg. Quite happy with that from a twin turbo V6 3ltr.

Traded in a Lexus GS300H for a 68 reg Fpace S. only 24k miles loving the sound and everything on this car. Can’t wait to go on a decent run in it.

I traded an Evoque (2017 2 ltr HSE LUX) for mine. Reg Dec 2018 (68 plate). 11.months old with just 5k on the clock. Fully loaded & loving it. Had it 17 months now but due to lock down only put another 3k on it. 2nd year service was done last November at only 8k!

Went to Chester last week. 212 miles non stop (apart from a couple of traffic hold ups) got 42.5 mpg. 3 ltr V6 diesel with 9k on the clock

I only get 23.7 mpg out of my petrol 3.0S, but I have a permanent grin on my face...😁

My S Type Auto 2.5 Petrol averages around 23.5 mpg., local driving. Came home from Bodmin, Cornwall earlier this week and it return 32.4 mpg.  I to know about the smile on the face when driving. Comfort and a smile ......... cannot be beaten.

Cheers, John

32 mpg and change is pretty good. I enjoy the sound of my supercharger too much, hence the high smiles per mile and low mpg

So, driving on the motorway over Christmas, thought I'd give the old, how many mpg can I actually get, thing.

Reset all the trips and put the cruise onto 73mph, no idea why I chose 73, I just did.

I managed 29.3 mpg, not a lot of smiling took place though.

Hi Big M,

May be it s not a great MPG, but If it feels good and sounds good that`s a reason to smile😄

( and 29.3 is better than my Jeep Cherokee!)

Best,

Julie.

To be honest I only managed about 45 mins at 73, got fed up of everything passing me

Yep know the feeling🤣 Feel your standing still.

I really think on motorways it should be like the parts of the Autobahn with no speed limit (only advisory)

so we can really test our cars out!

Would be great, but feel its going in the opposite direction in nanny Britain:cursing:
