the xe is 3yrs and 1 mth old-just out of warranty.would not reply to fob 2 days ago.entered manually and triggered alarm.car would not start-local jag dealer was not very helpful and asked to take car to them-how-it would not start.....got hold of auto electrician who opened boot and found 2/ 3 inches of water which had covered some electrics and the car could not function.drained 2/3 pints of water through grommets and car started bu n/s lights us.contacted jag dealer as i feel this is a recognised fault that had been there a long time----believe it or not they had never heard of any water leaks in the XE---they should read the jag web sites.booked car in for next week----any one had similar problems?
