. I have a few electrical glitches with my XF 2.2D in particular the TP monitoring system, which has a  mind of it's own every now and again telling me each tyre in turn is low in pressure for about 30 mins, I've been told by my local independent Jag specialist that I may need a software update and they want £150 to update it and it takes hours to do, is this about right for an update cost and time wise or is there any tricks of the trade that may work ( I'm so used to my previous XJ series II and III and XJ40 that didn't have all the comfort blankets!)

any help appreciated
