Hi I have had trouble with my xf and nobody seems to know what's wrong.. I have paid jaguar 130 for diagnosis but they have told me today that it requires more investigation and this will cost £1100 yes 1100 just to find out what the ptoblem is.... Has anybody had this before

Hi Paul --Welcome to the club sorry to hear you have a problem -Please Tell us what that problem is then we will help if we can ???

Perhaps some one in the club has experienced the same thing???

My 2010 XF 3.0d, 65000m has displayed the following faults on the screen for the lsat 3 years :- Park Brake Fault, Gearbox Fault, DCS Not Avalable. Also, more recently  :- Water in Fuel, DCF Full.

The car drives perfectly and although i have not sought a Jaguar main agents advice, diagnostic tests are clear. If you find an answer please report back as i think there are a lot of owners with the same problem.

Hi

How did you get an MOT? I thought Park Brake Fault Light aor a Dynamic Stability Control light were classed as a Major Fault resulting in a fail.

Kind regards

John
