A number of you may have read my mails last year when i complained about loud noises coming from the rear of my XFs Portfolio, when braking at low speeds.

I complained to Jaguar over a long period and eventually they said that the noises were fuel surge and were a OPERATING CHARACTERSTIC of the XF and were acceptable to Jaguar, therefore clear off......

I contacted every known car journal and even the Motor Manufacturers Assoc. I may as well talked to the first tree. All toothless wonders.

Last week i received a call from my dealer advising that Jaguar had issued a bulletin saying that they were aware of problems with fuel slap in XF cars and that a kit was available to fix the problem.

Tank was taken out and kit fitted, problem solved.......Hurry round to your dealer and ask.......

I am awarding Jaguar the ORDER OF THE LEAD BALLOON for useless and arrogant customer service and their total lack of customer relations

hey good job you got it sorted and hopefully many others will now know to see their dealer for the kit.

Many thanks for posting this, I don't have your particular model of car but it just shows what being persistent does, and exposes Jaguar for not behaving. Obviously you've been one of the reasons why this kit has been brought out – – – well done

Very Best Wishes

Alastair
