  • Nice one, might even get chance to get a coat of polish on the old XKR before I head over  :P

Bugger, Jag still not back from Mr Fixer so me and my wife will be coming up but not in as much style as I had hoped. Ah well if it's as nice a day as we are all expecting then at least it should be a nice run out in the wife's 93 convertible.

Do I get a free cupa for travelling over 100 miles. Lol

Cheers

OK so I was wrong, Super bikes next week end at Donington.

Traffic should be normal. (What is normal)

See you all there then.

Stan.

Had some good news late yesterday afternoon, the Jag is apparently ready for collection. I will have to collect it today ideally so I will be late to Alfreton, probably mid afternoon as the car is in a garage by Bromsgrove.

Fingers crossed I will see you all later.

Thanks

Martin

I sadly won't make it today. Despite getting the paint prepped yesterday in the hope I would.

Hope you guys have a great day. Cloudy here at the moment but forecast is for great weather again

Hi guys.

And guys your cars are really nice.

Cheers Karl

Thats awesome. Over £300. Nice one. Well done

Hi everyone,

It was a great day and the sun shone on the righteous!

A great amount of cash raised for a very good cause, too.

My flat cap saved me from getting burnt, too!

I am looking out for the next meet, and hope that the members of the Club from as far as St Helens and Scunthorpe ---  coast to coast ---as well as those from the Midlands, are able to get there again.

It was nice to put faces to names, too, and what a nice group of people you are!

Thanks to Simon for his hard work and getting it all together, especially.

Regards to you all.

Peter,

Shame I couldn't get there today but sounds like you had a blast. I'll try to get to the next one. The money raised is fantastic!

Hi Everyone,

i concur with the other posters great day out and meeting really nice people and the great cars.

I have a nice red lobster face, thanks for the hardwork putting it on.

Great amount raise.

Take care guys/girls till next time.

Graham:)

I did something quite daft yesterday.  I took my camera intending to take quite a few photographs but completely forgot!

I am looking forward to the next meet in September.

I thought that there was a great display of Jaguars, but noticeably none of the newer models, which surprised me.

There was one thing that was common to all cars there  --  all the owners were proud of the cars they owned and all were well looked after, and for me, my first taste of a car meet was quite brilliant.

It was just a pity I had to be back home for a commitment at 4.00 pm.

Regards to you all,

Peter.

Arrived late in the day due to having to go all the way to Bromsgrove for Midday to pick up my S Type which was finally fixed.

I did have a very pleasant conversation with Steve and Simon, Simon thanks for arranging "the Do", but would have liked to have met more members, hopefully next time.

By the way my wife, Helen, loved the XK, one for the future perhaps!

Looking forward to the next meet.

Big thanks Martin
