Hi all, I’m about to collect a 2002 one of the last X308’s tomorrow after “winning” it in the Car & Classic Auction. I have only spoken to the owner on phone, paid for the car and have not viewed it yet, of dear, what could possibly go wrong? Wish me luck…….please!

I also own a 2010 XF 3.0 D. Mine has done 67500 miles andi I am the second owner. It drives really well but I have reluctantly made the decision to sell it as I am getting increasingly frustrated at the warning messages that appear on the screen. They are not actual faults as they appear and disappear regularly. So, I would ask the seller if he has had any similar experience to date. Another potentially expensive fault is the Exhaust Gas Regeneration Valves, which cause loss of power - Jaguar dealers will charge £1000+ to replace them. Good luck. Bill

with age and lower limb mobility issues it is becoming increasingly more difficult to mount / dismount. If the suspension could be raised this could extend the ownership of the car. Any suggestions would be appreciated as would the recommendation of a garage / engineer specialising in such matters Terry C

Hi guys i have a jaguar xf 2011 2.2d. park brake fault used to pop up on a cold morning but it used to go away immediately but then it decided to just stay there and then later on one day all of the faults came up but epb was working perfectly fine Emergency park assist unavailable Park brake fault DSC fault stop/start fault when i press eco stop/start button i thought it was battery so took it to local garage and got it checked it was giving perfect voltage but still i charged both batteries and then a new error came up Cannot apply park brake i tried all of the steps to recalibrate by pressing brake 5 times and then epb but it never works. took it local garage again, checked with obd reader and there were various codes he asked me to get brake light switch to get changed which i did but still no luck any ideas please
