I was pleased that the fault had been found, as well. It could be that there are build quality problems or design matters that need attention though.

That is a lot of water. Wonder how long it has bee trapped in there. May be you should consider something stronger than oil as an inhibitor of corrosion/rust. I would expect that something needs to be injected under pressure to cover the whole of the area/expanse that 3 Litres of water has been sloshing around.

Go for people, there seems to be a pattern of Jaguar avoiding what ever warranty they can, even with what appears to be sensible engineering arguments.

With the CTEK you can buy a easy plug in adapter (I have one on my S-Type) which will show you the battery charge with a series of traffic lights colours, and allows a quick plug in when you want/need to use the CTEK. I find it adequate to control/identify the state of the battery. I do though religiously put mine on the CTEK at least once per month and for at least twelve hours.
