You will find that engine will not rev above 2.5 thousand revs while light is on.

You will find it just left of the steering column, underneath and to the front of the shelf . you will feel it rather then see it. It can be seen from kneeling position out side the car with with drivers door open. St

i suggest they are the same. I have just had all the bushes replaced on my Jag and guess what, it still knocks, the only ones that where not replaced where anti roll bars bushes and I was advised that this was probably the problem. Just this minute ordered a pair from Jaguar Spares North East. £23.00 A PAIR.

I am with green flag, but having only just got the Jag I don't know what they are like with them. I think Peter is right that drivers do probably know more than your average mechanic because we take time to get to know our cars, and these Club sites are a godsend. It is only the last few years that any car of mine has seen the inside of a garage except for MOTs. Happy New Year to you and all Members.

I am told there is a cleaning kit available, something like mild T cut, Probably from Halfords. Apparently this should be done about every six months. but don't quote me.

Well chaps, the car is running well at moment. No more faults indicated. BUT CRUISE CONTROL DOESNT WORK. Iget message that it switched on, but that is all. I thought a fuse, but which one, no mention of it in hand book. I am sure this must have cropped up before. Thanks for any assistance. Stan
