Hi Martin ---The mk2 is a truly remarkable car and usually comes with a 3.8 ltr i would assume your Stag has a 3.0 ltr and I think you will still be surprised at the mk 2 --???

Perhaps this will help ??? If they are the same as on the X type, then if you turn the ignition on and put gear into reverse (without running the engine) then put your ear against each sensor in turn, you should be able to hear them 'clicking'. If one (or more) are not clicking then they are faulty. If none are clicking then it could be the module in the boot. According to my fuse chart, it is fuse 3 (5amp) which is located in the boot fuse box. EDIT: The fuse also controls other circuits such as bulb monitoring module, s/c fuel pump relay so if these are still working it won't be the fuse.

I'm just thinking why the parts would be different ??? Perhaps I don't understand these cars .

Hi I would say or ask if it has had a new battery since new as this looks like a battery fault ???? the battery makes a lot of faults if low ???

Hi Paul --Your not on your own on this I have the same problem --I did eventually got through on 03007905555 they said press 1 -2 - or 3 for this or that so I did this only to be told press A--B--C--for this or that I did that and it rang a number and was told to hold on but they were sorry there could be a 45 min wait to talk to someone ??? "SO I HANG UP"

Hi I didn't think my mirrors were folding ones because I had tried and they didn't move then I hit one accidentally on a post and it folded ---so I folded back into correct position and found out that a sharp knock and it works OK ' So if my old X Type works I'm sure your XF will ?????
