  1. I totally agree with you Peter and Ken when someone joins the club young or old you like to come in nice and gentle

at first then after a while get to know the members   the layout and then ask a question if you have a problem  .????

This is a friendly club lets keep it that way a friendly welcome is the norm not a demand.??

  2. Hi Darren

l  would say its the jets or needles Fist of all I would set the jets about the same as each other and quite

low and make sure the needles are both in the same slot .???

If you set them to give more fuel and then it over fuels when ticking over just reset again .????

  3. Hi Robert

Welcome to the club really pleased to have you as a member we are a friendly bunch of Jaguar enthusiasts

and I'm sure someone will be on soon to help you --I have a X Type and really love to drive around in my

dream car because that's what I've wanted for a few years now.

    Best regards

  4. Hi Gareth

Jim said that it wasn't designed to be on a X Type but the X Type still has the hole in the bonnet frame

where the leaper should fit and I have one fitted and it really looks the great .

"BUT" I will say that drill a very small  hole from inside -out first and then do a measure  check on the outside

when I fitted mine I found it to be a little off center and I was told to do this by another member at the time

    so take care.???

It really looks good go for it

  5. Hi Reg

I have one that I fitted myself and it looks great and more like a Jaguar if you know what I mean

If you look under the bonnet you will see a hole as a guide in the strengthening bar "BUT" be

careful as it may not be exactly in the middle of the bonnet so small drill first then open the hole

to the center you will see what I mean it will only be about 1/8 inch out if that .???
