I remember having the gearbox oil changed and it was quite a job. They changed the oil in four lots and cycling through all gears until it changed properly. Not had any trouble since. It now changes correctly and smoothly. Hope this helps. Cheers Rod

Hi Jeff, I have a 2009 x type estate that I bought in 2015 with 92k on the clock. It has now done 147k. Its a 2.2 diesel auto. Its a really good car to drive with plenty of performance. I`m involved in motor sport and visit most of the circuits towing a fifteen foot caravan without any problem. Its had all the usual problems like wheel bearings, EGR valves etc but as long as you use premium fuel and an additive at every other fill up you wont have any trouble. Most of my trips are a minimum of 7 miles but occationally I take it for a blast in manual mode just to clean things out.Hope this helps. Cheers Rod
