I received an email tonight from Toyota Owners Club!

 

I have never owned one or signed up for club membership and yet it was a notification of a new premium members discount - just like the ones from this club.

 

I clicked on the link just incase the email title was incorrect but it took me to the Toyota Owners Club site!!!

 

The email came from the same team that manage ours - Auto Clubs International Ltd

 

I wonder if they have got their lists mixed up :(

 

One for the admin team to sort I think.

How do you apply for the Halfords discount card?  I can display the discount but there is no link to apply for the card...

 

I was awarded premium membership when I won a draw but I have never been sent a welcome pack or anything :(

hi chris when you become a premium member you should recive a welcome pack . with 2 jaguar owners club stickers cant remember wat else i got. but ther are 2 levels to the premium membership 1st cost £15. 2nd costs £20. the  £20 quid one you either get a joc mug or a tee shirt or both. regarding the halfords card we should get that sent out to us in the post. ive not got mine yet. suppose the giving them to the toyota club first !!!!! regards charlie

Got my card, and the welcome pack fairly quickly.

What is frustrating is that I won a premium membership in a draw and have received nothing several months later.  I wasn't aware that a pack was sent to premium members until I saw responses to this post.

 

So not happy :(

your lucky peter. i upgraded to premium member about 6mths ago. i opted for the £15 quid deal as i didnt want a mug or a tee-shirt for the £20 deal. i found the envelope they sent me . all thats in it is 2 joc stickers, and a voucher for £5 off the price for the tee-shirt. guess who wont be renewing for next year. ps how do wee contact them its starting to annoy me now. charlie (i dont like getting ripped off)

We want you to save your subscription costs over and over with our discount scheme. The Halfords discount was a task in itself and has been very popular.

 

£15 is great value (less than half pence per day) for what you get in offering and it was not designed to give a massive welcome pack full of goodies. your subscription supports the club and in return we are trying to return a great membership scheme for you.

 

Our next project is to obtain savings for you at your dealership which means the membership scheme will be even more worth it's weight in gold.

in regards to everyones Halfords cars , I beleieve they are all now arriving. Sorry about the wait, it seems these were franked and sent to royal mail and it took a week before some arrived. I am not so happy about that, but at least they are arriving now.

thanks steve. the halfords card will be well used as the local store is 2-300 yds from my home. i spend a few quid in ther over the year. and i do thank you and the jaguar owners club for the discounts that you get for us members. the card will save me loads over the term of the card so thanks steve. kind regards charlie
