My passenger side wiper is also the same.  I happened to be in Galway today and saw an S type parked by the main Church and his was the same too!  It was also the same colour as mine [indigo Blue}

Im new to the club no pictures posted as yet, my wipers sit exactly the same on my S-Type. It appears to be the natural position.
