Hi All, 

I have just had occasion to flag a member as a spammer.  His/her profile [YuanYuan] indicated that he or she had a 2004 model F type which  should tell us something.  He/she will no longer be able to post messages.

This person posted 50 identical posts on every topic possible and all giving a list of various retailers.  

These people pop up now and then and every time they seem to want just to be disruptive.

The club is a friendly and helpful group of members and in the last few weeks have demonstrated how helpful they are,  and I am sure that all agree with me on that.

The moderators do try to read all posts, but now and then the odd one gets past.

I would personally like to thank all those members who appreciate the spirit and aims of the club, and as someone once said "it is your Club".

There has been a spate of spammers just recently. I've nailed a couple.

Echoing what Peter has said. If one does get past and you spot it, please do let a mod know and it can be dealt with

I have a list of IP addresses  ---  now and then Spammers try taking a new identity and coming back that way!
