rear boot/spare wheel cover.

Featured Replies

after being back off our holiday and taking the suit cases out the boot i noticed that the cover had sunk down into the spare wheel? after inspection i found that the cover is made of thin cardboard! and had split due to the weight of our cases. so off to the timber yard with my old split cardboard as a pattern, and they cut the shape to the same as the old,.... but i had 5ply marine board or half inch thick. then glued everything back, material was a bit fiddly to do!  but also added a brass flush fitting handle.  material cut out then recess out wood to fit the brass handle.  its now easy to lift up and get at spare wheel.
