Help... please... :)

Basically, I want to produce a book of some of the useful Jaguar documents (Battery reset, service reset, bluetooth pairing procedure etc.) in a size that will readily fit inside the Jaguar glovebox documents wallet, along with the handbooks, warranty documents etc.

I have several A4 sized documents which I want to reduce in size to fit a notional page size of 5" x 7". I would like to have these documents print out on A4 paper, back to back (my printer does duplex) so that they then only need cutting to size. The individual 5" x 7" pages will then be spiral bound into a reference book.

Basically, I want to produce a book of some of the useful Jaguar documents I have in a size that will readily fit inside the Jaguar glovebox documents wallet, along with the handbooks, warranty documents etc.

Some documents are Word and some are PDF.

Can anybody help please?

Thanks :)

Hi Paul

use microsoft word

you can paste text documents, pdf's into it, pictures, web pages

organise it all how you want, on what size page you want

then print it,

cheers

Hi Paul

Hopefully I understand your problem correctly.

have a look at your printer settings, you maybe able to reduce to A5 which I think is the size your aiming for. With regard to PDF's you maybe able to open with windows 'Paint ' which I think will allow you to re-size the image. you copy the PDF (if memory serves) paste to word, left click the image to highlight it then right click, hopefully it will give you the option to open or save as a paint image

if I get chance at work I'll have a go for you

regards

Steve

Thanks Steve :)

In fact I was wanting to use 7 by 5 because it is slightly smaller than A5 and so would fit in the document wallet easily.

Looking forward to your results :)

Hi paul

Try publisher you can set your own diameters for paper size and set as a template,  to cut and paste your word and pdf files in to it,
