I am looking at changing the built in nav system for a Android based multi media system and was wondering if I remove the touch screen system which includes the climate control can I fit the non touch screen climate control panel. Also is the necessary wiring and connectors in place. Do I also have to changed any other bits like the RCCM and such.

Yes it's the only route to take or else you can't use heater/climate control.

Remove the touch screen and the RCCM. The 2 plugs which plugged into the RCCM need to be rerouted to now plug into the std climate control panel.

You will also now not need the dvd drive in the boot.
