Air Bag Light up on dash

Hi  a new issue just arose...I have a light that has just appeared it is intermittent and can flash on or off and sometimes it doesn't come on at all. 

Any thoughts what is the cause where to look and how to deal with it?

If the airbag light flashes it is giving you a fault code. Long for the first digit, short for the 2nd digit. So one long flash and 9 short flashes means code 19 which is fairly common - drivers airbag / clockspring. The code is repeated 3 times. See what yours is and then google airbag fault codes for a list.

Thank you Dan. Im not in possession of a code reader so that would be my next requirement. I did also speak to a Jag guy locally and he suggested looking at the plugs on the seat.
